Tempo Rubato has invited FQ to program a series of five concerts to be performed in the venue each Monday in August.

CONCERT 2: "Brahms and Haydn" performed by Flinders Quartet, with special guests Piruli Quartet

The string quartets on this concert program by Brahms and Haydn need little introduction. Flinders Quartet can’t wait to sink into the sumptuous romanticism and grandeur of Brahms and have fun with the ingenuity and wit of Haydn.

Joining Flinders Quartet on stage for Shostakovich’s energetic Octet Op. 11 are bright rising stars, Piruli Quartet, the 2021 winners of the Flinders Quartet mentoring prize for the Musica Viva Strike a Chord competition.
