FQ are passionate champions of Australian chamber music and strive to create performances which captivate and delight audiences. We are proud to embrace our role as musical vanguards, innovating and embracing the future, while cherishing the beloved masterworks of our canon.
FQ provides crucial industry development programs, commissioning, mentoring and recording, plus community engagement and outreach programs to deepen our relationships with new audiences and inspirational musicians.
2020 is rapidly becoming a distant memory as our annual program starts to blossom with an array of commissions, premieres, and dynamic concert programs to share live and streamed across the country.
Unfortunately, the bleak period of 2020 continues to have an impact on our budget for this year as we feel the loss in live performance income which normally underpins the following year’s activity.
We still need to raise $137,000 to be able to deliver the full 2021 program and activity.
